Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez arrived in Las Vegas for their much-anticipated rematch on Tuesday, (September 11). Golovkin and Alvarez fought to a controversial draw last September in Las Vegas, about that, generated the third-biggest take in boxing history. The two were supposed to meet in May, but Alvarez failed two drug tests, was suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for six months and the rematch was canceled. In June Canelo (49-1-2, 34 KOs) and Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs) agreed to terms for Saturday’s rematch at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
