A driver is in critical condition after her car was crushed under an 18-wheeler

The accident happened on Almeda Road and Orem Tuesday morning.
Police say the woman was seen driving between 85 and 90 miles per hour on SH-288. Officers tried to catch up to her, but the woman refused to stop leading police on a chase.
According to authorities, the woman crashed her car under an 18-wheeler. The driver was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
