House fire in Missouri City

MISSOURI CITY – The Missouri City Fire Department responded to a report of a two-story home on fire around early Wednesday morning.

According to deputies, the fire took place just after 1 a.m. at 707 Derby Lane. Investigators say that there were heavy amounts of white smoke coming from the second floor of the home. 

No further details were provided on how many rooms in the home were affected or if anyone suffered any injuries.
