Houston toll roads waived

HOUSTON – The Harris County Toll Road Authority officials released a statement yesterday alerting customers that toll collectors will no longer accept cash payment for tolls in booths in the lanes. Cash customers are now able to drive through and pay later online.

This decision comes out of concern and precaution to eliminate any potential exposure to both drivers and employees to the COVID-19 virus. The World Health Organization has declared it a pandemic.More details regarding this temporary change can be found on their website www.hctra.org/News
