HOUSTON– Street racers are the cause of a blazing crash that sent a pickup truck with a toddler inside flying off the North Freeway last night.
Witnesses say they saw two drivers speeding down the outbound lanes of Little York at around 10:20 p.m. Vehicles were seen trying to maneuver out the way as they approached them at high speeds.
A car burst into flames as it hit the white pickup truck before it went over the edge of the freeway and landed on its roof.
A family of three was inside, including a baby. The man and child were not hurt, the woman was sent to the hospital for her injuries.
No update was provided on her condition.
